Court sanctioned legal heir certificate:

  1. To obtain the Certificate by approaching the area/taluka Tahsildar office with the respective jurisdiction and or from the District Civil Court. 
  2. A signed Application pertaining to names and addresses of all the Successors and specifying their relationship with the deceased. 
  3. The Death certificate of the deceased has to be attached with the application once obtained the same from the corporate office.
  4. An affidavit on stamp paper will be submitted on your behalf.
  5. A newspaper notice for 45 days is issued by the court. Any kind of objection over the advertisement can approach the court to stake their claim. 
  6. After the period of 45 days, if there are no such objections arising out of the advertisement then court bearers will issue the succession certificate.

Municipal sanctioned legal heir certification:

  1. To obtain the Certificate by approaching the corporation/municipality office with the respective jurisdiction.
  2. A signed Application pertaining to names and addresses of all the Successors and specifying their relationship with the deceased. 
  3. The Death certificate of the deceased has to be attached with the application once obtained the same from the corporate office.
  4. An affidavit on stamp paper will be submitted on your behalf.
  5. After a detailed inquiry and inspection by the authorized officer, the certificate naming the Successors of the deceased person will be sanctioned after 30 working days failing which we can approach the Revenue Division Officer
